What does 1099 independent contractor mean?

It means you're in business for yourself rather than being our employee. You set your own availability, decide which jobs to accept, invoice us for the work you complete, and handle your own taxes — no withholding comes out of your pay. We don't provide employee benefits, and we recommend setting aside part of each payment for taxes.

Do I need my own cleaning supplies?

Having your own supplies and equipment is a real advantage as a contractor, and it's one of the things we ask about on the application. Tell us what you have on the call and we'll work out the details together.

Do I need previous cleaning experience?

It helps and it affects your rate, but it isn't a hard requirement. Some of the best people we've worked with came from other detail-oriented work. If you're reliable and genuinely careful, apply and let's talk.

What areas would I be working in?
